01.
Unbeatable performance

In direct comparison with leading pothole repair solutions, RESIFIL consistently demonstrated superior performance: 2 x compressive strength, 2.5 x tensile strength & 2.5 x flexural strength of the nearest competitor, while also proving 23% more fill volume.

02.
Rapid, one-person application

Most pothole repair systems are time consuming and manpower hungry. RESIFIL can be mixed and applied by one person in just a few minutes.

03.
Self priming. No cutting.

RESIFIL chemically bonds to the existing tarmac and is designed to bind any loose aggregate. If there is any debris left in the hole it becomes part of the repair, rather than a potential weakness. RESIFIL’s bonding power means there’s no need to holes to be cut square and no need for taping/edging the joins. RESFIL is the join.

03.
No heavy equipment. No hot work.

The simplicity of RESIFIL application means there is no need for heavy equipment. RESIFIL requires no heat, it mixes easily with a cordless drill & paddle, and can be applied with a trowel. It takes just a few minutes to mix and apply, with none of the hazards associated with hot tarmac.

04.
Return to service in 20 minutes

At ambient temperatures, RESIFIL will be sufficiently cured for heavy traffic within 20 minutes and will develop full strength in just a few hours, unlike other materials which can take up to 7 days.

05.
UV resistant & immune to freeze-thaw

One of the main issues with other pothole repair is degradation due to environmental conditions. RESIFIL is not weakened by UV exposure and is unaffected by the freeze-thaw cycles that are responsible for the failure of most conventional repairs.

Frequently asked questions

We have endeavoured to provide a summary of the questions we're most often asked, but if you would like us to elaborate or have a different question, please contact us for assistance.

RESIFIL forms a strong, permanent bond with the substrate, which means that a correctly applied repair will last for several years, certainly many times longer than typical cold-lay repairs.

No… just a drill with a mixing paddle, a trowel and gloves.

In most cases, no more than 20 minutes. Even at 0°C, curing takes no more than one hour (this can be reduced to 30-40 minutes through the use of additional accelerator).

No. RESIFIL is designed not just to adhere to the substrate, but also to bind and reinforce the material on the sides of the pothole, making cutting and taping unnecessary.

We would typically advise that RESIFIL is applied up to 50mm in a single layer.

Absolutely. RESIFIL is specifically formulated to provide very strong adhesion to metal, ideal for application around grates and manholes.
